Residential Chainlink Fences
Chainlink fence is the most economical fence to install. Carnahan-White sells only fence that has been galvanized after weaving. This process offers a better coating process that out performs sprayed on galvanizing. Wire thickness is judged by gauge – with smaller numbers denoting thicker wires. Our wire is a full 11 gauge, which is thicker than 12 gauge wire. Chainlink woven wire with 2” diamonds is much stronger than diamonds with wider spacing. Carnahan-White uses pipe which is hot-dipped in molten zinc. This method deposits 50 to 75% more zinc inside and out than pipe galvanized with the inline method. Pipe that is hot-dipped will not rust from within, as painted wall pipe will. Carnahan-White uses fence pipe with thicker steel walls giving more strength, rigidity and years of dependable service. Chainlink is also available in color-coated systems. Black, brown and green are available.
